A 501(c)3 Non-Profit Animal Welfare Organization located in North East Ohio
All of our adoptable animals are listed below, and each one of our rescues are wonderful, loving and unique in their own way. To help you find the perfect match for your furever pet, we try to include as much detail as possible and post descriptive icons next to each animal that represent more common traits our adopters look for. If you are interested in adopting any of our rescue's, please fill out an adoption application and we will be in contact with you shortly.
We specifically look for the home that is the best fit for each individual companion animal. We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. The requirements for each adoptable will vary; some dogs will not do well with children while others would thrive with them; some are flight risks that would require a fenced property while others are "velcro" dogs that will never leave your side, etc. Outside the specific needs of any particular companion animal, there are some basic requirements that apply to all potential adopters:
We do NOT discriminate on race, ethnicity, age, financial income, etc. Each dog has its own specific needs and our ultimate goal is a happy, loving, ending for both the furever family and the companion animal looking for a home.
The process begins with an adoption application. The submission of your application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee an adoption.
Upon application approval, the foster mommy/daddy will perform a home visit to ensure a proper match, safety, and compatibility with the resident animals.
If a compatible match is confirmed by both the potential adopter and Dogs Unlimited volunteer, and no other applicants require a home visit for your particular adoptable, then an official adoption can take place at the time of the home visit or other arrangements can be made as desired.
